Based on the request and design of a well known designer colleague, we manufactured for the owner of a logistical company in Budapest, the below solid wood pieces.
The owner's request was the creation of traditional, solid wood furniture for a home office. The interior designer's ideas were to be created in a subdued yet elegant civilian style.
In the room, we placed two solid wood desks facing each other. Each desk received a rolling drawer (so called container) which can easily be slid underneath the desk. As the office is a part of a gallery, the location of the handrail was functionally "replaced" by a (100cm) tall row of solid wood cabinets. In this row of cabinets it is easy to find the file holders, room for the printer, the computer, there are drawers as well as pieces with doors. There was a further request for a classical solid wood book case cabinet. There was a stipulation for mood lighting, as well as for the already existing sofa to have a place underneath the book case cabinet and thus to form as a part of it. The traditional office and the home's ambiance was brought in sync with the creation of a negotiating corner. In this feat we used the "help" of two chairs and a coffee table...

There wasn't one. As our date of completion slipped, and we felt ashamed….
